Schizophrenia Test

Could you have schizophrenia?

What does it mean when people are losing touch with reality and experience delusions or hallucinations? This is what we typically call schizophrenia. This is both a complex and dangerous psychological illness because a person perceives all his "quirks" as being real.

Anyone can use this test to check whether they may have symptoms consistent with schizophrenia. Take this test to get an initial sense of whether a consultation with a psychiatrist may be worth considering. Do you notice any of these signs in yourself?

Can an online test accurately confirm schizophrenia?

No. An online test is a self-observation tool that helps identify markers of the disorder. In diagnosis, a psychiatrist considers not only test answers but also medical history, duration of symptoms, and clinical examination results.

What are the first "warning signs" of the illness?

Early signs often include a sharp decline in social activity, neglect of personal hygiene, unexplained anxiety, a feeling that the world has "changed," and fragmented or disorganized thinking.

Is schizophrenia hereditary?

Genetics plays a role, but it is not deterministic. If one parent has the illness, the child's risk increases. Schizophrenia is a multifactorial disorder where genetics, environment, and stress factors are all significant.
